Gingerbread Cookies
Supplies needed
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 ⅓ cups sugar
- ¾ cups shortening
- ¼ cups light molasses
- 1 egg
Process
- 1. Heat oven to 375°F and prepare cookie sheet with parchment paper
- 2. Put all ingredients above into bowl
- 3. Combine completely
- 4. Shape into balls and place onto cookie sheet
- 5. Bake until cookies are cracked
- 6. Once baked, add additional sugar to cookies (optional)
